We started Headland Hounds after years of reading ingredient labels and finding the same thing: fillers, additives, and ingredients we couldn't pronounce. Our own dogs deserved better, and we suspected yours did too.
So we went back to basics. Single ingredients. British farms. Air dried slowly to lock in flavour and nutrition — no heat, no shortcuts, no nonsense. What you see on the label is exactly what's in the bag. At Headland Hounds, we’re proud to be a small, independent business with big ambitions. For now, everything is carefully hand packed by ourselves, right here at Headland Hounds. Every order is prepared with the same care and attention we would want for our own dogs. We might be small today, but we’re hoping to grow — without ever losing the personal touch that makes Headland Hounds special. Natural treats. Carefully packed. Ethically sourced. We work directly with British suppliers we trust. Short supply chains mean fresher treats and full traceability.

Low-temperature air drying preserves natural proteins and flavours that high-heat baking destroys. Better for your dog, better taste.
No nasties
No artificial colours, preservatives, or additives. Ever. If we wouldn't feed it to our own dogs, it doesn't go in the bag.
